Integrations

Flowtig wherever you work.

Flowtig is designed as an API-first platform.

Although most users interact with Flowtig through the web application, every feature is exposed through the same public APIs, allowing additional clients and integrations to be built without changing the platform itself.

Whether you prefer the browser, a native desktop application or future third-party integrations, every client communicates with the same backend and follows the same authentication, permission and tenant model.

One platform. Multiple clients.

Every Flowtig integration uses the same APIs, ensuring a consistent experience regardless of the device or application being used.

API-First Architecture

Flowtig separates business logic from user interfaces.

This means:

  • The web application is one client.
  • Native desktop applications are additional clients.
  • Future mobile apps can reuse the same APIs.
  • External integrations communicate through the same platform.

This architecture allows Flowtig to evolve without coupling functionality to a single frontend.

Available Integrations

macOS

Flowtig currently provides native macOS applications built with Swift and SwiftUI.

These applications:

  • Use the same authentication as the web platform
  • Support the same multi-tenant architecture
  • Respect Flowtig permissions
  • Communicate through the public GraphQL and REST APIs

Native applications provide a desktop experience while remaining fully integrated with the Flowtig platform.

Time Clock

Time Clock is the first native macOS application available for Flowtig.

Running directly from the macOS menu bar, it allows employees to record working time without opening a browser.

Features include:

  • Fast working time recording
  • Menu bar integration
  • Native macOS experience
  • Direct synchronisation with Flowtig Worktime

→ Continue with the Time Clock documentation.

Future Integrations

The API-first architecture makes additional integrations straightforward.

Potential future integrations include:

  • iOS
  • Android
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Outlook
  • Browser Extensions
  • CLI tools
  • Automation platforms
  • Third-party business systems

Every integration builds upon the same platform foundation.

Why Integrations Matter

Different organisations work in different ways.

Some teams prefer browser-based applications.

Others spend their day inside desktop software or automate workflows through external systems.

Flowtig is designed to support all of these scenarios without changing the underlying business logic.
